I received a blog award from Donna
a 'Stylish blogger award' lovely is that?

I am truly honored! I began this blog not even a year ago, mainly for a creative outlet, not thinking really anyone would want to read what I had to say! So I am truly honored that others come back time after time to take a peek, read and enjoy and comment on my musings. :) I love blogging and am amazed that others are interested in what I have to say... I have found some very lovely blogs in blogland, truly lovely & inspiring...

so in order to accept this award
I must follow the rules...
1. thank and link back to the person who awarded you
2. share 7 things about yourself
3. award 15 recently discovered great bloggers
4. contact these bloggers and let them know you awarded them

Donna...thank you babe!!

my 7 things:
1. I have a pink ribbon tattoo on my left ankle. I would love to add to it someday
2. I believe that POPCORN solves all my problems
3. I drink my coffee black and do not like adding 'foofy' flavors to it
4. I could sit for hours and hours just reading a book (books might be my addiciton)
5. a cluttered house actually makes me VERY grumpy
6. I am a clothes and shoe addict...they make me happy...oh so happy
7. and I have come to the conclusion that I am a reluctant entertainer

so I will have a HARD time picking and choosing who to give this award to
I have found SO many bloggers whom I adore...

I nominated 13 it is harder than I thought...sorry if I did not pick is not my intention to hurt anyone!

May you have a wonderful and blessed New Year.
May 2011 be filled with love & all things happy because,

WOW! Thank you so much Melody-Mae. I am humbled by your gift. It really is nice to get positive feedback when you (we) are putting our most personal thoughts and creativity out there for public consumption.
Can't wait to sit down and blog about my award and think about who to pass it along to. Happy New Year <3 You've helped 2011 kick off on a super-positive note. xoxox

Melody, This is such a beautiful blog, In appearance but especially the content. I am going to enjoy reading past posts. You have indeed had a busy year. You have seen some beautiful sights. I never knew where the word gaudy came from until we saw his work in Barcalona.
Don't you just love the grandsons. I have five grandsons, no granddaughters. That's OK. I told the boys, all now adults, I just get to choose my granddaughters. I know what you mean by that unconditional love. I didn't think I could love more than my children but these grands are awesome. The oldest has Azberger Syndrome( not sure I spelled it correctly) and the other four are in university. One of those is in grad school. They are all five fantastic young men. You have such a fun time in store for you and I know you will enjoy every second of that time.
I look forward to our visits. I am your newest follower. Ginger

and i'm right there with you - i love (and devour) books! cannot stand mess and clutter in my house and am a reluctant entertainer - once the guests are there, i'm great but before hand i always wish i could cancel ;-)

Wow! I've been away with my family in the RV for a few days (and I've suffered inernet withdrawals), so this is a wonderful thing to come home to. Thank you so much for including my blog on your list. It means so much! Wishing many blessings for you and your family in 20111 God Bless, Debbie

Melody, it was a
pleasure finding
you and now this
delightful surprise!
Thank you! I am
going to copy down
all the rules and
will participate in
the near future. It
sounds like your
Christmas was wonderful!
I was also in Washington,
but sick as a dog, so
it's all, sadly, a bit
of a blur. Home now and
starting to settle in.
Happy 2011!
xx Suzanne

Thanks so much Melody. Christmas was unusually hectic because my husband had surgery. It took me awhile to get back to you. I really appreciate the award.
