on this friday~
rain
the weather here has turned to
rain
and this makes it hard for me
to want to get out of bed.
i want to burrow
deeper and deeper
underneath the warmth of
the blankets
and drift off
harvest party
our church is having
a harvest party
tomorrow night.
our daughter is meeting us there
with our two year old grandson.
it is always
wonderful to experience
a holiday with a little one-
their wonder and excitement
reminds us of how
good life really is!
loss
two friends of mine
are experiencing loss this week
of their fathers.
both were christian men
so we know without a doubt
that our loss is heaven's gain
but, still
my thoughts and prayers
are with these two families
as they struggle through
their sorrow and grief
glow
the glow from
our fireplace-
so warm and cozy.
sitting and basking in front of

my laptop
or book
and just relax
and soak it all in.
