clouds swirl above

the wind blows
trees bend

while the sky turns gloomy

it's the perfect kind of day

to stay inside

curled up with a

book

sneaking in a nap

or two.

i want to live each day

as if it were a blessing;

 because really,

 is there

today-

right now?

it is so easy to

forget and wrap ourselves

in all the comings and goings

we get so busy,

just treasure the moment

right now.
