i have many
things to be thankful for
this holiday.
although
not all of our family
can gather together today
&
i will miss each one of them
more than words
can say!
i am choosing
to concentrate on the joy
i have in my life.
not in the sorrow of missing
my loved ones.
today is a day for
happiness.
family.
laughter.
(lots of food!)
and being thankful.
i am
grateful-
may you be blessed
today and always.

Have a terrific Thanksgiving!
I am thankful too. We will not be seeing our family this year, no turkey festivities, we are making a pot roast in the oven, with a fire in the fireplace later. Hubby is sick and on antibiotics, our son and his wife are sick, our daughter and her family going to other families homes. Still remain thankful that a day of thanksgiving is NOT just one day on the calendar but any day we are able to be together.
There is much to be thankful for. You have a great attitude!
I like that you are choosing to focus on joy rather than on sorrow; I do hope the day was a great one however it was spent!
