through the eyes

a good ol'
country fair
through the eyes of
a little boy.

there is nothing
like. it. ever!

all the animals
were so exciting!
he couldn't get enough
of them.

then gramps came to
the fair and joined us,
which meant the tractors
were next on
the must see list! :)

we took a break and ate
lots of fair food which
included:
ice cream cones
the size of my arm ;)
greasy curly fries
and of course one
can never leave the
fair (at least i cannot)
without having a
corn dog!
yeah, lots of 'healthy'
eating took place!!

then we had to go through
the horse barn before
heading home -

the fair of 2012
was great fun-

the only thing
missing for me?
one little
brown eyed,
brown haired boy-
who would have loved
sharing all the
fun with his cousin-
and a granny and gramps
who missed sharing it
with him too!

we miss you jack.

Thoughts for the day said...

We are missing the fair this year, I don't want to go because of the heat. My favorite food at the Clackamas County fair in Canby, is the corn on the cob and the batter dipped corn dog.

Your little guy is sooooo cute. It's all "explore & discover" at that age, isn't it? So fun to have little ones to enjoy the fair with!

Sounds like a wonderful day.

He is such a cute little boy
and you can almost feel his excitment through the photos.

Glad he enjoyed it.

Your little one is adorable, and the pictures are great. I have to say though, all that green and gold would have my husband swarming (John Deere is his first love, you know). :)

Isn't it fun to watch children experience things? They get so excited and I love the expressions on their little cherub faces. So sorry your other grandbaby couldn't join you. :(
