happy thoughts

yesterday's sermon
and worship service
was truly amazing,
i just soaked it in.

the message?
being a christian does
not mean we will not have
problems!

some of the points
i scribbled down;

* you do not need to be
a positive thinker, if you
do not have a positive thought
then borrow one from the Word,
from scripture, from God.

*we draw into our lives
what we constantly think about!!

on this rainy monday morning
as i sit here nursing another
cup of coffee...
warming myself in front of
the fire...
my plan is to fill my mind
with happy thoughts.
to dwell on the good
and to let go and let God
have control. (which is pretty
 hard for me, a type A girl!) ;)

i leave you with the words
of one of our worship songs
we sang yesterday;

shine your light and let
the whole world see,
were singing for the glory
of the risen king!
