quietly

in stillness-

in the quiet

of this morning;

a new day

this is the time

for me to

sit and be still-

to  revel

in it all

the sun rises

birds begin their

songs

and quietly,

yes quietly

i sit

thankful

 for a 

new day-

grateful

for it

all.
