the letter j is brought to you by...

joy
n
1. a deep feeling or condition of happiness or contentment
2. something causing such a feeling; a source of happiness
3. an outward show of pleasure or delight; rejoicing
vb
1. (intr) to feel joy
2. (tr) Obsolete to make joyful; gladden
[from Old French joie, from Latin gaudium joy, from gaudēre to be glad]

what is the first thing that comes to mind
when i think of the letter j?

j is for jackson-
this little boy
a grandson
who fills me
with joy!

jackson and joy
go hand in hand
well at least as
far as i am concerned!

the definition of joy?
something that brings happiness.
yes, that would be jack!
this granny's heart
overflows with happiness
and love at just the mention
of his name. :)

today's letter is j
for the challenge

it is a new day
another chance to
see something beautiful...
my hope is that you find something
that brings you joy today!
may you see the beauty that
is in TODAY.

even in the small and simple things,
joy can be found...
and i wish this for you!

Now why am I not surprised to find 'joy' on your blog? :) And in the form of a grandchild no less? Fabulous 'J' words!

My favorite letter by far but maybe due to my kids all being "J"s and my new grandson is a Jaxon also just spelled differently. Sending you joyful thoughts for tomorrows post.
