fifteen days

today i am thankful for my faith
faith
i would be lost
without it-

today my husband & i
went for a consultation
in seattle.
my hubs
will be having surgery
in the next few weeks.

the drive
seems long.
i look out the window-
the trees
all purple, gold and green...
a doe and her fawn standing
just on the rise above the freeway...
and the clouds
all soft and puffy
in colors of silver, grey and white
with the sun shining behind them
streaking the sky in golden hues.

the world slides by,
while we drive
each of us in our
own little world-
the quiet between us
thick but, not uncomfortable.
we are both lost in our
own thoughts...

as i am saying a
silent prayer...
along the side of the freeway
a sign left over from
last weeks election.
the bright green & white sign
seems to jump out at me...

the large letters spell:
HOPE.

filled with love,
hope, faith
and peace.

all will be well-

life is just so beautiful
God is good
i am thankful
always thankful

I'll be praying for your husband and his surgery. Having just had 2 of 4 major surgeries I know the stress it puts on the family. Your faith will get you through!

Thank you for your kind words, thoughts and encouragement. To say this journey has been challenging for my family would be selfish. Every day I pray for Summer to have healing and peace.

I appreciate you taking the time to lend and ear, advice and anything in between.

That was beautiful. Signs and wonders are visible to us when we have faith. Everything WILL be fine.
