a sunny smile

it was only a sunny smile and little it cost in the giving but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living. By: unknown

i just love this quote!

~~~~~
how true that a
smile does not cost us anything
but, when we give it out to someone
it could possibly be the ONLY
sunshine they have seen
or maybe it will
give someone a bit of happiness?!
we never know what is going on
in someone else's life and we
cannot not know what it feels
like to walk in their shoes
each and every day
sometimes those clouds can be
pretty dark and overwhelming
maybe that particular person
you decide to shine your beautiful smile at
maybe, that person is just barely
hanging on,
the world seems ugly and the clouds
around them seem dark...
and then a simple smile
something so simple as a curve of lips
could be exactly what they needed
to reassure them-
maybe that smile will cut
through those dark, ugly clouds
and just maybe it will give them hope.
today is friday
i intend to show the ones i love
and even strangers in the checkout line...
anyone i come across today,
a smile.
let us spread some sunshine today!
i am off to be shiny!
Isnt it wonderful what a smile can do for you and the others around you. It can change the world in a matter of seconds. It can bring hope and encouragment so much from this little turned up face that brings such joy ans warmth to anothers soul. Grandma use to say it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. And a frown could become peranent if we didnt turn it upside right. Love grandma.
Thank you for sharing your sunshine smile with us Melody Mae.
Many Blessings
A smile is a curved line that sets things straight :)
