*hello, friday*

on this friday
i take a moment
just to be
silent...

japan
victims of this
horrific disaster
for hawaii
and all who have been
affected by the earthquake & tsunami

in just a moment
lives were changed
a train filled
with travelers just disappeared
boats swept away
a wall of water rose up

imagine
the fear & disbelief
wreckage & pain

a warning for the
west coast, of all of the pacific
i pause this morning
thinking of all
affected today

being thankful for my many gifts
because truly
there are many

oh yes, friday
you are loved

help me to not grow complacent
to remember others

on this friday
may you feel
joy & be blessed

Complacency can come, and it sure does creep in. Thanks for the reminder to cherish life. Neat blog you have here :)

so much disaster in so many places. "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and EARTHQUAKES in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains"

We are in labor, friends.

What a thoughtful post and a wonderful reminder for all of us to pray for the people of Japan and to be grateful for the blessings we have.

Thanks for stopping by, I have been very busy lately with, school, family and everything in between. I somehow make time to keep up with everyone else's posts, just leave my own as the last on my to-do list. Beautiful post...I love reading your words.
