december1

You know when you are getting old
when the days, months and years
pass by so quickly!
unbelievable that it is already
Decemeber 2010...seriously... where. did .
the. time. go??

Today I am hauling out the
Christmas stuff...no tree yet
we are hosting our grandson
Jackson's 2nd birthday this Sunday
I did not want a bunch of Christmas
decorations fighting with a bunch of
dinosaur decorations, so the tree will wait
I do believe I will put some of the
other decorations up though...

I know this month is going to
fly by without a minute to spare
parties, get togethers, shopping,
family time and all the things
associatied with Christmas season
makes it sometimes hard to really
concentrate on the REAL reason for Christmas
so my prayer this month will be
that we are able to spend some precious time
not only with our family but also being thankful
for Jesus who came to earth as a baby and saved
each and everyone of us!
I look forward to the get togethers and also
the wonder and joy of watching Christmas through
two little grandsons eyes...but I also want to give praise
where praise is due...Jesus, thank you!

be blessed,
melody

a side note: on facebook there is a Pay it forward day today! I am joining in on it!
Dec. 1st is: Pay it forward day
what can you do? buy someone's coffee, pay for someone's gas, donate something, be kind,
there are so many ways to actually pay it forward...will you join me today?

Wordish Wednesday

Pay it forward day is a Great idea!

My middle son's birthday is Dec. 4th. I too used to wait until After his parties to put the tree and lights up. I felt is was bad enough that his birthday was so close to Christmas that I tried even harder to make it a 'seperate' special holiday of his own! :-) He will be 24 this Saturday. Where does the time go... oh my, way too fast that is for sure!!

Great blog! Following & thank you for the visit earlier this week!

Blessings & Hugs,
Coreen

How funny that you mention about time flying. I was just commenting about that earlier to someone. Thank you for stopping by. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better! I don't know what word to use cause impress sounds superficial but I'm so glad that you have beat breast cancer twice! You have a wonderful story. I'm sure of it! Be blessed!
