a weekend in seattle

we went to seattle on
saturday morning &
spent time family.
(my hubs' brother, sister & her husband)

we strolled around the seattle center;
the space needle and the surrounding areas.

later that evening we rode the monorail
to downtown pike street market.
walked the many steps down to the pier.
walked the pier and ate at ivars. ;)

we saw the new 'great-wheel',
which reminded me of
when i saw the 'eye' in london.

the following morning we met
for breakfast and then headed back to
the seattle center and pacific science center
to take in the king tut display. (can we say AWESOME!?!)

that evening we went to the seattle opera house
to watch our nephew
perform in the sacred sounds concert
put on by seattle pacific university.

what a WONDERFUL time,
it was to take in seattle;
with all the christmas lights up on display
and christmas music playing.

magical. beautiful. this time of year.

how lovely!

as we were walking my sneaky
sister in law took this photo...
i love it!

my hubs and i-

i hope you too,
had a lovely thanksgiving weekend.
that you had time to enjoy life.

and above all
that you were blessed.
