a walk in the park

a morning walk 

in the park-

as i waited for a friend

to meet me at the park

for a walk;

i looked out of my car 

window at how beautiful

my surroundings really were.

taking the time... 

to notice it.

to soak it in.

the sun was shining.

it was lovely.

just peaceful and still.

it reminded me to;

"be still and know"

on this monday

with happiness and joy!

will you take time 

to stop.

to look,

to be thankful.

and to enjoy

it all?!
