making every single moment count

excuse me while
i am on a self imposed break
this week.

my daughter, son in law
and three year old grandson
leave this sunday
for two years
all the way to vienna, austria.

yes, that means
after today it is
three days.

i am;
savoring
storing
and enjoying
every single minute.

taking lots of photos
and trying to keep myself
together
until monday!

i will be back
in full force
next week

until then,
know that i am
trying to capture
as much time and memories
as possible!

shining
always...

I've been thinking about you! I have a question-it might be a stupid one- is it different knowing that they're leaving because they've been called by God? Easier, somehow? Or not really. I'm just curious. Maybe more like bittersweet- proud that they answered the call but still going to miss them like crazy? Hugs!

Pam,
Yes, it is bittersweet indeed. I think it is a bit easier for me since they really have a calling and have a 'purpose'. When they first started talking about moving, I was pretty sick about it but, then I thought: "who am I to stand in the way of God?" I guess it makes it easier but man I am going to miss those three like crazy!!!

Oh, and another thing...I could NOT be any MORE PROUD of them to drop their nets and follow where He leads them!!

No apologizing needed, you suck up every ounce of love you can. No worries, as they are in God's hands.

Oh my, this has come around very quickly in the end! Like Pam, I have been thinking of you, because I know just how much you are going to miss that part of your little family. Sending prayers and blessings your way my friend, and I don't blame you at all for creating all these memories, so that you can keep them in your heart. The little cousin is going to miss his buddy as well I think :( See you when you get back, and, meanwhile, I wish your family good luck and all the best as they head off on their new adventure to do God's work.
