with family and friends
in portland, oregon
how much fun this was!
the first day
we went downtown to
pearl district and took in
powell's books, cupcake jones,
had dinner at rouge ales
walked around town and then
took the streetcar down to the waterfront...
we had a tour booked for the
following day at
the willamette valley vineyards
in the morning my other
sister in law brought us
all voodoo donuts to go
with our coffee! :)
next stop was willamette valley vineyard
they took us on a two hour tour
of the vineyards and behind the scenes
which was so interesting and the
weather was so perfect for us!
we drove around a few more vineyards
ending our evening at
riverview restaurant in troutdale...
so much food
so little time! ha!
my sister in law and brother in law
are the best hosts in the world,
always making you feel like you
are the most important people ever
and so welcomed...they both have
wonderful hearts and i love them so much!!
i hope you had a wonderful weekend
as well and that you too made some
sweet memories!
here are a few pictures from our
weekend-
this bookstore is so big they have a map!
cupcake jones
(my favorite was the red velvet)
i love my sister in law
three amigos dreamin' about owning a boat;)
maple bars with bacon? kinda weird. ;)
outside the vineyard
row after row of barrels!
i think that view would make it
an easy place to come to work every day! ;)
our best friends along with my husband, me,
my two sister in laws and my brother in law :)
oh, yes i am blessed.

Looks like a wonderful weekend!
We love the Portland area.
We did a quick trip to Puyallup yesterday, and spent Father's Day with our eldest son (the new daddy) and his family. Much fun!
Would love to do coffee this week, if you have a free day.

Sounds like you had a fun time! Those cupcakes look tasty!
Wow, now that's what I call a weekend! I spent mine painting furniture. Oh yeah. Big fun. LOL I have been keeping up with you and your photos on facebook but I'm usually doing it via my phone and it's rather difficult for me to comment that way---big fingers little keyboard--:)
What a wonderful weekend! I loved Oregon when I visited there a few years ago. Such beautiful scenery... Loved it. Looks like you are truly blessed with great family hosts. :)
