'I don't know what this means but I'm happy.'” author unknown
we all look basically
the same on the outside
but, what goes on deep down
in the depths of our soul
the stuff we
so often keep
hidden and locked away;
that is what
matters.
the true person
that lies underneath.
we can go through
all the right motions,
act as if we have it all
together
that we are happy
that we love others...
but, if it is all
for show
how
can you be real?
to be happy
on the inside,
to be joyful
underneath
when the storms come...
to be grateful
for the good & bad,
that is what
i am striving for-
my goal.
to enjoy it all.
truly enjoy it.
deep down
underneath the surface
i want to treat others as
i truly want to
be treated.
to be
thankful not just
on the outside
but deep, down in
my very being,
underneath it all-
i want to grab that
joy for life
and
share it with others.
life is lovely
i am blessed
and
i never want to
forget.
this was taken yesterday,
an afternoon walk down our lane
on a 'treasure hunt'
with a sweet little boy-
oh yes,
happy way down
in the depths
of my soul,
how can i not be?

Simple beautiful, Melody-mae and I can relate!
I grow up as an introvert; I lived inside of myself; I came to know the inner me very well and at a very early age learned who I was inwardly; when you bring the inward out and simply be who you are outwardly the entire world looks differently!
Yes- we are all so very blessed everyday of our lives; we all might not feel that way, however we are!
There isn't one day of my life that I can't reflect back and seeing how blessed I am; I count my blessings everyday!
Being yourself inwardly and bringing that you outwardly truly does bring joy, happiness, peace and contentment!
Such a touching poem, Melody- mae!
