twenty-twelve

the year twenty-twelve?
oh dear.

it seems a bit unreal to me.
like a sci-fi movie! ;)

where does the time disappear to?

i have decided instead of actually
making a new years resolution
i will have a
twenty-twelve 'word'-

there are a few that
spring to mind...

love
hope
happiness
gentleness
kindness
loyal
patient
listening
joy
thankful
inspire

i have been thinking
about this for a couple days

what would be the word
that would help me to
be a better person
this year?

what word would
challenge growth?

i think it is
a toss between
kindness & gentleness

in the end i think
one word stuck;

kindness

i want to make this my goal
to speak, act & think with

kindness

may the words of my mouth
and the meditations of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
o lord, my rock and my redeemer.
psalm 19:14

tell me do you have any
new years challenges
or resolutions?

oh, and i must say this:

happy birthday to my daughter tawni!!

what a lovely
woman you have become!

I love this post and the idea of having a word for the year. I'll be posting on my New Years thoughts soon...still thinking on those and catching up on Christmas posts!

Interesting that you would pick kindness. I think you practice that every single day! You certainly show it on your blog!

Happy Birthday to your daughter. Our oldest is 27 today!

Kindness. What a wonderful word choice and so reflective of the posts you share with us. I think another word for your blog, at least, could be inspiring.

Can I have two words? If so, they'd definitely be "see beautiful." Yep, those are my two. ;)
