nothing is planned!
a lazy morning-
snuggling deeper under the covers
savoring another cup of coffee
the fireplace warming my toes...
oh yes, love these types of days!
catching up on laundry
as i sit watching a christmas movie
with the college daughter...
oh yes, love these types of saturdays!
my daughter has been making cards and sending them to the kids at St. Jude
since 2006
if you or the little ones in your life would like to make some
and send them here to us
she will add them to her huge pile and send them off...
so many little ones are in the hospital during the holidays and this
could bring a bit of happiness to them.
the one rule is:
when making the card
do not write
get well.
let me know if you would like to
join my daughter and make some to send!
may you have an enjoyable
and lovely weekend.
i hope the craziness that
sometimes goes along with
all the commitments would not
be overwhelming
that you would have time to sit and enjoy
the important things/people
in your life!!
blessings,

You've given me a fantastic idea! How awesome! Thank you, Melody! :) Merry Christmas!
As a teacher, we send Christmas cards to active service members.
Happy weekend.
Glad you are enjoying a relaxing Saturday. We, too, are kicking back and relaxing today ...
... with hot mochas and lattes (and hot chocolate for the kids)
... with computer time
... skyping with friends
... playing games
... reading books
Yep. Pretty quiet and peaceful around our house, despite the fact that we have 6 kids at home.
:) :) :)
I'll have my kids make some cards.
A few years ago, one of our boys was in the hospital for 3 weeks (w/ 1 week in a coma, and 2 weeks in ICU), so we understand the pain and loneliness of the hospital.
Great project. Thanks for sharing.
