little faces

day 8~
i couldn't be more thankful for happy little faces

at the mall last week- i adore this sweet, happy face!

*how can anyone have a bad day,
just look at this little, happy face!

late last night
i received a call
asking if i could watch
my 2 1/2 grandson
because daddy got called
to sub at the local high school
(he is a math teacher)

so early this morning
before i had even began
my day...
before the cobwebs had
been cleared
with my coffee...
a little face walked in
through the back door-
all he wanted to do for the
first hour was to
snuggle in granny's lap!

today i am thankful
for my grandsons
and their happy little faces!

now i am off to try to sneak
in another couple cups of really
strong coffee! :)

if you were here right now
drinking some coffee with me,
what would be on your mind?

do you have things to be thankful for today?
i hope so-
or maybe you have a heavy burden...
know that i care-

may you have a lovely day.

be blessed-

Photobucket
*the chalkboard-
remember when i painted the bulletin board
with chalk board paint? (here)
it was/is a HUGE success!!!!  :)

Hi Melody-mae - I've had my daughter and the two little ones here today, so I'm a happy bunny. A tired bunny, but a very happy one!! Blessings.

What a cheestastic smile, I love it! Love this 'thankful' theme in the posts. Always great to remember what we are blessed with in life. Hope you have been doing well! :)

@TGFN, he smiles EXACTLY like his mommy used to smile when she was HIS age...exactly! She was and STILL is a ham for the camera! :)

You sound like me before a good cup of coffee...definitely a lot of cobwebs...lol.

Today I'm thankful for God's provision. It looks like we may have found our new home. Even if this is not the case, I know that He is with us.

I hope one day to have a grandchild or two!

I'm writing my thankful posts on facebook, for brevity's sake.

I was talking to God this morning about the thankfulness bug that's sweeping the net and wondering who people think they are thanking if they don't give Him the credit...

To God alone be the glory!

sweet way to start ur day * * I'm grateful for the here & now ... soaking up the ages & stages of my girls ... the health of my pops ... the bonds with my sisters & the magical love I have with my hubs thru the highs, lows & stillness in between * *

If we were drinking coffee together, I'd admit I was thankful for the moment. Thankful to have a moment to enjoy good conversation with an incredibly thoughtful woman and sip coffee. We would have to get some really fancy wonderful stuff.

Also, I just found read this blog post and thought of you. I think you'd love it: http://www.sugar-and-spice-and-everything-nice.com/2011/11/thankful-board.html (A Thankful Board)

Whenever you tell us about your little grandsons, it makes me excited to meet our little grandson when he arrives in March. He won't live quite as close as yours do, but I'm sure I'll be making the 3 hour drive south quite often.

soon-to-be-a-grandma :)
