colors

through the window
the colors of fall
burst forth-

all the warm colors
of autumn-
burnt orange
yellow & golds
magenta red
dark brown
shades of
greens and dark purple

there is a scientific
reason the leaves
change their colors
but, for me it is just
the magic of fall

crisp leaves hanging
for dear life on a tree,
blowing in the wind
dancing around
the ground-

how lovely,
is this autumn day!

Melody,

The pictures are gorgeous! God's handiwork is always the best. We cannot even compare in our efforts.

I am looking forward to taking a trip to Arkansas in the near future and hope to see some comparable sights.

Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful photos. I am so grateful for each lovely fall day. We're supposed to get rain tomorrow, but today was glorious.

Thank you for your precious thoughts and prayers for my Mom. She is improving...is in cardiac rehab now and is still weak, but getting stronger and looking forward to coming home. Our God is so awesome to have spared her life!!!

These pictures are gorgeous. Our midwest trees are not so pretty. I teach my students to stop when they see a pretty sight of nature and say, "Thank you, God for my eyes."

Brilliantly put. There is magic in fall. If we stop for a moment and take it in, there's so much beautiful to be seen and enjoyed.

Thank you so much for always brightening another's day.
