through the window

the colors of fall

burst forth-

all the warm colors

of autumn-

burnt orange

yellow & golds

magenta red

dark brown

shades of

greens and dark purple

there is a scientific

reason the leaves

change their colors

but, for me it is just

the magic of fall

crisp leaves hanging

for dear life on a tree,

blowing in the wind

dancing around

the ground-
