a granny & gramps day

we took the boys out into the field to check our corn
and to pick blackberries
take note; NO BOOT! i had a dr. visit on wednesday and was
given the okay to remove the boot!
i am having a hard, slow go without it-
my leg is pretty sore and stiff
i have a lift in my shoe to relieve some of
the pressure on the achilles and
physical therapy is helping...

the boys both LOVE picking & eating blackberries!

gramps lets little guy drive the rtv out in the field-
it amazes me that this 2 1/2 year old knows how to
steer that thing and
boy does he LOVE driving it...
that expression on his face says it all!
little one loved the excursion out
into the field; the rtv ride, the blackberries,
the corn field-
although the sunshine made him squint when it
was time for this granny to take his picture. ;)

it was a wonderful day full of giggles
and the two cousins playing-

i am blessed and am reminded every single day
how sweet life truly is!

my hope is that you too have
things that remind you
how sweet it is!

shining~

Hi there. I expect you are relieved to get your boot off, but I am sure it will be a bit painful without that support (your leg will probably get a bit tired too). Hopefully with physio it will soon get easier for you. Delightful photo of you and hubby with those two gorgeous boys, and i LOVE that photo of little Jack driving the rtv!

Glad you are healing and having so much fun with the boys. I love that expression on Jack's face.
