i will be heading to
seattle in a few hours
for my six month checkup
i always hate these days...
since it is a two hour drive
there is time for me to think...
by the time i get to the dr.
my blood pressure is high
because i am antsy to find out
if the blood-work is clean and clear...
i could use your happy thoughts, good vibes
and of course your prayers!
tonight, i am not sure i will make
it back in time for the beginning lap
of the relay-
usually the survivors
take the track and do one lap
to start off the relay.
i have not missed it since our town
began having relay but,
i am not sure with
traffic if we can get back in time.
i do know this-
when it starts getting dark
we will light our luminary bags
the track will be lit with a
soft candle light glow
from so many luminaries
all around the track-
it is a sight to behold!
people will fill the bleachers
and i will be standing on the football field
with a microphone and flashlight
reading s little something that i wrote.
so again, if you happen to be thinking
about it, i could use those happy thoughts,
positive vibes and prayers!
may the words of my mouth
touch someone, uplift them,
help them to know that
above all else there is always, hope!
with peace & love,
