time marches on-
seasons come, seasons go
sitting here listening to
the wind blow
rain lays in big puddles
warm spring-weather
you have not arrived
no sunshine days
for playing in the
flower beds or walks in the park
where are you, spring?
please, come visit

*****
today marks day eighteen
of the 30 for 30 remix challenge
the end is getting closer and closer
if any of you are a fan of
shabby apple dresses
they had an article i read
last night, here about someone who wore the same dress for thirty days
and vowed not to shop those 30 days
she got people to pledge money
and it went to help
stop the slave trafficking...
now as much fun as this challenge has been for me,
the same dress for thirty days?
wow, that would take some imagination!
she did a great job though!!!
if any of you have been reading this
blog for a while here you know
i had a problem with my health insurance
and my prescription i take for my
breast cancer...
i called my oncologist on monday night
and talked to him about
finding a drug for me
that was generic so as to decrease
my cost of the drug (the one i currently take has no generic form yet)
he said, i could try this particular drug
"some have no side affects and it works great,
and some do not do well on it"
my hubs and i decided to give it a try
for a couple months
i go in for my check-up in june
and we will assess the affects at that time...
so instead of $300 the cost was $30!
i am praying the side affects
are minimal and i can continue with this one :)
as i draw nearer to the end of
the challenge, i have noticed that
there are 3 or 4 tops, a dress and couple
cardis i haven't worn yet...whoot-whoot! :)
i am going to try at the end to post all thirty
in one post, to make a collage...
at least i will attempt it! :)
so without further ado
here is day seventeen;
may you have a lovely, fabulous day!
be blessed...life is great!

I very much enjoyed reading your poem about waiting for Spring! I think it arrived here today. Nice warm sunshine - at last!! Wonderful. Lovely photos and outfit, and your glasses are cool. Oh I do so pray that this new drug will work for you. Blessings to you.
I always enjoy your posts. They are such a great mix of fun, fashion, inspiration and your personality :) I hope you had a fabulous day as well!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I love your outfit. The mix of the dress with the jeans paired with the striped top is great! The key necklace is fab! Sorry to hear of your struggles with the drug company. My husband had an accident last summer and had a head injury, which caused some memory loss and some other issues. The neurologist prescribed medication to help him with this and initially we were denied. After fighting them and 2 appeals they finally approved it. And then the drug company gave us a voucher to help with the cost of it. I hope your new meds work for you! I hate to hear stories like this. It's becoming so common.
I'm so glad you left a comment on my blog! I love your cute outfit and scarf!
And p.s. Woot woot for Washington (that's where my hubs is from).
Melody Mae I pray this new drug works for you. You will be in my prayers.

Sounds fun! Not sure I could do the dame dress for 30 days. But a great cause. Amazing what you can do when you want too.
