there are dishes staring at me
from the sink
waiting...still waiting for me
yes, it is monday
i am moving slowly
laundry, dishes...oh yeah
the usual monday stuff
the promise of coffee
at the bookstore
with a best-bud
makes for such
a lovely day!!
i love spending time
with someone who
loves me unconditonal
where there are no pretenses
no weighing of what i might say
we say it with no worry
of consequences
we can get together
to vent (and boy do we)
laugh or cry
be silly and just be ourselves
knowing full well
that we are loved & accepted
for our weaknesses as well as our strengths
how lovely it is
to find someone like that...
sometimes it comes around only once
in your lifetime
for me i have been amazingly
blessed twice-
because i have two such
people like this in my life
my best buddy and my hubs...
how lucky can a girl get?
so here is what
day nine looks like;
