i heart my coffee

can we have coffee? oh yes, i do heart my coffee!

how about virtual coffee?
i would love to have coffee with you and with lucky number 13!

so if i were meeting you today for coffee i would tell you about my stay at the hospital overnight last night.
my husband had his hip resurfaced yesterday in seattle and we will be here until tomorrow...i am sleeping on a cot in his room
ordering coffee through the cafeteria...so if i met you, i would order a venti non-fat latte or a non-fat mocha, something other than cafeteria coffee! ;)

my hubbie did great with the surgery! today they will be doing physical therapy 3 times with him to get him moving and get us out of here tomorrow and back home.

i would tell you about the book i am reading by alice hoffman: 'the story sisters'. it is about 3 sisters, i am always drawn to anything about 3 girls since that is what we have, 3 daughters!

i brought my little pink laptop to the hospital and so i have been looking at my favorite blogs and surfing etsy!

i would tell you that my cot is next to the window, and i cannot seem to get warm at all, no matter how many blankets they bring me!

i would tell you how much i appreciate my three daughters, my friends and their love and prayers for my husband and for me. how sometimes someone will come along and just lift you up, not physically but, emotionally and how nice it is to have a friend like that! those kinds of friends come along sometimes just once in a lifetime, and you are lucky... if you are like me, you have a couple really true friends like this!

i would want to stay in the warm cozy coffee shop with you... listening to how you are doing. how is your family? what is new? what does your week look like? do you have any needs? any prayer requests?

i would leave feeling uplifted, refreshed... knowing that i can take on the rest of my stay here with my husband at the hospital because i spent some quality time with you.

have a wonderful day. i am off to drink some more cafeteria coffee and pretend it is from our coffee shop 'date'.

Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that keeps house the way I do! :)

I pray for a fast and healthy recovery for your husband, and a warmer night's sleep for you tonight! I also hope you get a good cup of coffee soon, I know the hospital coffee is not the best.

Hope you have a good day!

Thank you for popping by my blog...

If I was meeting you for coffee, my coffee would be strong and black with two sugars. I'd say, hope your hubby is feeling better today. Then I'd say do you want a nice sticky bun to go with that coffee, coz sticky buns and coffee always makes us feel better. Then we'd chit chat for hours and I'd say something silly and you would laugh..best medicine I know...hope you and your hubby have a good day..don't drink too much coffee though or you'll be zinning....:-)

Very glad that everything has gone well for your husband! My oldest son is a Physical Therapist now and doing an intership in a small hospital not too far from us for a while. He talks about what he does, but I still can't quite picture him in the hospital setting and work with people like your husband. Funny.. he is still in high school in my Mind! :-)

So sweet of you to stay in his room with him.. even though it's not a Warm nights sleep. You'll be home soon though! :-)
Lots of Hugs & Blessings,
Coreen xoxo

Hoping your husband's recover is continuing to go well. Wishing I were closer to hand deliver a yummy coffee instead of you having to endure hospital coffee!!
God's blessing upon you and yours!

Oh man...just missed it! Looks like I'm #14, but I'd still love to have coffee :)
I hopped over to little Cash's web site - I am so sorry to hear of this loss. My heart breaks for that poor family.
Happy belated Birthday. I hope you had a wonderful one (my husband's was yesterday), and I hope your husband's recovery goes smoothly. MEN, they tell you to leave them alone when they're not feeling well, but they sure don't want you to wander too far away (lol). Be blessed today, my friend :)
