* I choose happiness *

To first define happiness the dictionary says:

*feeling pleasure: feeling or showing pleasure, contentment, or joy
*causing pleasure: causing or characterized by pleasure, contentment, or joy
*satisfied: feeling satisfied that something is right or has been done right
*willing: willing to do something
*fortunate: resulting unexpectedly in something pleasant or welcome

has this week  brought me happiness, contentment or joy?
have I been the cause of any happiness or joy?
am I satisfied?
am I willing to do something to make someone else happy?

this week I was lucky enough to spend time with of both of my grandsons. to spend time with them, making them smile and laugh.

to share my love for books with my 22 month old grandson, who while I was folding clothes repeated one line in the book over and over and turned the pages as if he was 'reading' it.

I played in the sunshine with my grandson

got to visit with each one of my daughters this week. I am fortunate to have each of them live within 30 minutes of me, so how lucky is this momma?

I spent some time with my husband, dinner and some evening tv. just relaxing and enjoying the end of the day together.

talked to my friend on the phone

read a book

washed my windows inside and out so I could open the blinds and enjoy the last bit o' sunshine!

this weekend, the girls and I will head to Seattle to do a bit of early shopping...getting some Christmas present ideas and doing lunch.:)

am I happy? Oh Yes, indeed.

did I make someone happy? that smile on my grandson's face when he comes through our door is enough to know he loves it here and is happy.

am I satisfied? Oh how could I not be? I am happy to share my life with the family I love. I am HEALTHY, I am content. life is not always perfect, I am not perfect but, I am happy with my life.

am I willing to make someone else happy? Oh, I am willing. somedays I know it is harder than others, but I am willing to try to make others happy!

How was YOUR week? I hope you found happiness! Please look, because there is happiness everywhere... if you choose to only look!

I am happy because some friends of ours at church had beautiful healthy triplet sons at 34 weeks. One was 5.8 one was 4.6 and one was 3.15 and all are well enough to be out of NICU. Praise GOD...

What a beautiful post! And, yes, I am happy even though there are those who tried to get in the way of it...LOL Our two youngest daughters are just over the bridge at college but they have their own place downtown. Fortunately, they still come home when their internal 'radar' informs them of what's for dinner! Only one married daughter and no grands YET...yours are just the cutest!!! I'm looking forward to that phase very much! And I'm following you back!
