It only takes a Spark-

It only takes a spark to get a fire going, and soon all those around can warm up in the glowing. That's how it is with God's love, once you've experienced it, you spread His love to everyone; You want to Pass it on.

First off, I am here with an update on our friend's 27 year old daughter. The surgery went well, and the pathology reports came back negative (GOOD) which means no spreading and she most likely caught it in time! This is wonderful news! Praise God!

So, this week I was reminded just how important our words and actions are. I put together a gift/care package to give to my friend to pass along to Stacy, her daughter. I told my daughter who has been friends with Stacy for over 20 years, they grew up together...like cousins if you will. So, I tell my daughter about the gift I have put together and she tells me she has done something similar for Stacy, her friend! I text her back and say, " How sweet of you, you are such a nice friend..." I get a text back which said 4 very simple words,"I learned from you." These simple 4 words... meant so much to me!!! Amazing that when my daughter wrote the text I imagine she wasn't thinking it was anything too wonderful...but to me, those words struck my heart like an arrow! How wonderful to hear that what I do is not only being noticed but also emulated...well this made me think about how often we quickly say something not even thinking how it might affect that person. We say and do things to others sometimes without giving it much thought-
Be it good or bad, we could make someone's day or we could hurt them deeply with just a few simple words. Our words and our actions speak volumes...a kind word, a smile, a nice gesture or deed...it could be the only thing someone gets all week long!

Lord, may the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart, be pleasing to you oh, Lord.
