this is not good-bye but until we meet again-

I lost a friend...breast cancer 'sisters' we called ourselves.
We were diagnosed with cancer within months of each other. We were
there to support each other...to vent about this stupid thing
called cancer... and to laugh and enjoy each others stories... and to pray
always for each other. She was an amazing christian woman, who
walked her talk.
She just lost her long battle. She recently told me she was ready
to go home...
This is for you my sweet friend. Rest in peace, Bev.

until then-
death cannot
and will not
seperate friends
who love Christ
you may go before me
my sweet and smiling friend
but we will
see each other again
we will laugh and share those
wonderful smiles and hugs
until then-
Rest my friend
I will see you
this is not a final good-bye

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Isn't it such a comfort to know we will see them again?

Despite the pain, there is hope. So glad to have Jesus. How else can one cope without Him?

Thank you so much for your very sweet comment today. I covet your prayers.

big hugs!

Dearest Melody, I was delighted that you came by HomeHaven to visit about the Salads! It's nice to meet you. Thank you for the kind words.

I read your post and your bio and am glad you are a survivor! So very sorry about your sweet friend.

Today, I officially found out that I have thyroid cancer...not exactly what I want to hear. Cancer. Am stunned.

But am encouraged that you are a survivor.
Will become a follower.
