(posting every day with a letter of the alphabet)
the letter e
is egg-stra special
today
because
my youngest daughter
turned 23!
yesterday
her and i
drove to downtown seattle
and went shopping
and out to lunch,
then we got a
hotel room...
we shopped,
ate,
laughed...
ate some more
and then
laughed some more!
it was a wonderful way
to wish her a
happy birthday!

i love the woman
she has become
she makes me proud
each and every day
to call myself her mom!
happy birthday tessa
you made yesterday and today
'egg-stra special'
this sunday
is easter (letter e)
it is so easy
to get
wrapped up in the
festivities;
of eggs and bunnies
of easter egg hunts
and fabulous food...
i am thankful
that a promise
was kept.
that christ died and rose.
yes, thankful
indeed.

Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter, Tessa. Look at that beautiful smile, and you two are so alike! How wonderful to spend time like that together. Amen to the last piece of your post my friend. Wishing you and your family a happy and blessed Easter. May it be SHINY!!
So happy you can share good moments with your daughter. (And Molly Cottontail is adorable) I'm trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs this month.
