fresh mowed grass,

daffodils begin to

show their faces,

and farmers

begin to work the soil

for planting grass & corn.

across the street

in the trees high above;

five of the most

spectacular birds

sit in branches.

eagles 

with their

beautiful white heads,

and impressive wings

watch the ground

below them

as the ground is worked up

and little critters scurry about.

spring 

represents new life

new beginnings

and

a promise

fulfilled.
