and days go by

what a whirlwind
this weekend has been

friday-
we celebrated
with a candle light communion service
and my daughter and son in law
aka- 'a fine pair of misfits'
performed their new christmas song
such a moving and lovely evening
i did try to get one with all the candle light
this is the best i got!

saturday-
my husband and i
went to a matinee with
our sister in law and brother in law
then to dinner. YUM.

then i went home to complete
a marathon of wrapping
while they played cards into
the wee hours

christmas day-
started out pretty mellow
no little ones to wake us up
with all their excitement...
so i was able to get up and
make the breakfast casserole
and cinnamon pull apart bread :)
along with drink LOTS of coffee!

the kids arrived at noon
and the fun began...

the two little grands
 had so much fun

they had a great time
playing with remote cars
(oh, so did their dads!)

their joy was contagious!

today-
i went to breakfast
it is a tradition that started
years ago...
i meet friends that i have had
since grade school
we meet for breakfast the
day after christmas
so much love, laughter and
stories.
friends for life
and life is good!

i hope you too
had a wonderful christmas!

blessings to you-

Sounds you had a great time for Christmas...the remote cars, I think like father like son huh? because it happened here too...as a matter of fact, the dad played it more than the sons LOL!

Wonderful celebrations my friend! How lovely that you keep in touch with your school friends like that. I can see that you have had a lovely few days.
