some truly think
only of the fourth
as a holiday, a long weekend
to be celebrated by
picnics, parades, BBQ's & fireworks-
i think of the colors
red. white. blue.
how i love them too!
many years ago
they signed the
declaration of independence
giving us freedom
sometimes we are so
caught up in the deep
traditions of our celebrations
we forget to be thankful...
yes, we are free
free to:
dance
write and say what we want
dress how we please
worship
sing
and live
what a wonderful blessing
to live in a country where we
are free!
now, i pray you...
go enjoy that holiday,
eat lots & laugh tons...
live and love and laugh
life is good
we are free
we are blessed!

We are very blessed... in a peaceful safe 'environment' with prosperity all around us. May we be aware of what freedom really costs as we celebrate this fourth of July. And also pray for those who serve so we can be free.
