through the eyes of a child

the day started early ( he couldn't wait) with snaps that he tried to throw but wound up stomping
to get them to pop! :)

later in the evening after a bath, he play with sparklers...

he loved chasing gramps around the driveway and skipping with granny!

when it finally got dark, we drove our RTV out into the middle of our field and watched a view all around us,
fireworks going off in the mountain above us,
and neighbors who put on a lovely show!

truly a lovely way to spend the evening-

i hope you enjoyed your fourth of july as much as
we did here!

little guy called (with granny's help)
his cousin
this morning so we could
sing...
happy birthday!

now i am off to finish
another cup of coffee
and yes,
i might need more
than one more cup!! :)

He is absolutely adorable Melody! I remember playing with sparklers when I was a small child. I didn't think they made them anymore cause I never see anyone with them. Thanks for the memories and for sharing this special 4th of July with us!~Hugs, M

What a beautiful post!!I was blessed with the incredible opportunity to teach for 30 years.
Seeing the world througth the eyes of a child is pure joy. All the "little things" in life are magnified.
