there is fun to be had!

i have been watching my 2 1/2 year old grandson
on and off while his mommy is in S. Africa
on her mission trip

watching him,
i am reminded that there
is fun to be had
in even the smallest of things!

this granny has been playing and laughing
and having a great time
but, let me tell you
this morning i woke up
and i am sore,
every. muscle. in. my. body.
is sore!
(it was worth it, though)

little man had some fun with a red wagon

and a hose!
he said, he was washing the wheels :)

we sat, just him and i on my porch swing-
and with a deep sigh, he said, "this is the life"
i about laughed myself silly, he must've have heard one of his
parents say that! :)

we flew a kite
and we dug in the dirt with his 'digger'

this thursday,
i can truly say
that i am thankful
for each and every moment
of each and every day!

and you?
how has your week been?
i hope you find pleasure
even in the smallest of things...
have a lovely day!

Oh, that is just so precious - "this is the life"!!! Bless his little cotton socks!! What a wonderful time you are having with him, but I know what you mean about being tired!! When I have my two little ones here, I collapse in the chair when they've gone home. LOL!!
