bloom

a view from my outdoor swing this past Sunday

we had the family here for a picnic and had a great time!
these yellow flowers just make me smile,
they are so sunny and happy looking~

this picture is of the three men in my life
whom i love beyond words!

i caught this photo of my husband
on the swing with the two grands
i love how they are all laughing
it makes me smile just to see their joy!

little did i know that sunday as
i ran around in the backyard taking pictures
and having fun that a few days later
i would be wearing a cast on my leg
and having to hobble around with crutches!

it is a wonderful reminder to enjoy
each and every day-
the little things along with the big ones!
all of it is a blessing and i pray we
would all remember to live and enjoy
our blessings-

i am thankful
that i am healing,
that i am surrounded by
people who truly love me
what more could anyone really need?

since i am limited in what
i can do right now,
tell me what you have planned for
your weekend?!
allow me live vicariously through you! :)

may you enjoy all that this weekend has to offer!

Maybe God's special plan for you this weekend is to be calm and still, and let other's care for you and serve you. that is THEIR plan!!

I don't know how I missed your previous post. I'm so sorry to read of your accident - that sounds just awful. Ouchy Wah Wah! Glad the worst is over and you are on the mend. . .No big plans here for the weekend but I did get the house cleaned today, so I'm ready for whatever the weekend brings.

What a great picture! All that happiness in one place!

This weekend DoodleBug is moving into a different house downtown Charleston which means her dad and I will be moving her all weekend. Wonder if I could get out of it if I came to your house and waited on you all weekend so you wouldn't have to get up? LOL

I am so sorry you are hurt, this is a time of resting, for whatever reason you needed it. Now what book would you like to read? what journal book would you like to write in? what movie do you want to watch? It is all about choices and of course sleep. praying for you.

Oh my goodness, I had to go back and read your earlier post, I am so sorry about your accident but thank God you were not more seriously hurt.

Are you non weight bearing for 6 weeks? Take care of yourself and if you need a good nurse, just give me a call!!

You can pretend you are at a BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.

You can be glad you are not a part of some serious family drama ... in a family of 17.

You can smile .... because your sweet gift has put a smile on my face this weekend. (Nice bed ... not hot tent. Nice swimming pool ... not hot campground.)

Keep smiling!

Hi Melody!

How are you? I hope you felt better now. But I guess, with all the genuine laughter and the bright flowers around you, you'll get well sooner than expected.

I just had my going green and saving the planet weekend. And I enjoyed it so much. Hope you too!

God Bless!

Oh my goodness I was so sorry to hear of your freak accident, my thoughts go out to you and I hope you heal very quickly. Sorry if I have not been commenting much recently but I am still here and still reading, just lack of time and the real world keep getting in the way.

So sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you ate well soon. We are on vacation in Canada visiting my husbands family. It's been lovely so far, even with all the driving. My two young children have done very well. Take care and blessings to you, blogger friend.

I'm so happy to connect and so sorry to read about your recent injury. I love that you're trying to see beautiful in being somewhat limited and think that the way you've crafted that mindset is lovely. So glad to be a happy follower!
