thank-you

thankful;
oh yes, i am

for all of the support you
have shown to me and
my two girls as they
embark on their mission trip

for the prayers offered up
i am forever thankful

i have not had any contact
from my girls since they made it
through the security gates at Seattle Airport
heading to S. Africa

i am praying they are safe,
that they are having
an adventure to last a lifetime

i am thankful they have
a laptop and hoping
to get updates once in awhile!

praying that when they start working in the orphanages
they will be a blessing to others-

i am thankful today that the sun is 'trying'
to show his face

for a husband who works hard

that a little, almost one year old
will be coming to visit today

for my home although
it needs a deep cleaning
it still is my home and it
is a cozy place to 'fall'
it is not just my house but my home
and i am very thankful

for this and so much more...
i am thankful

today is a wonderful day,
it is a gift

what will you do with your day?

will you enjoy a bit of it today,
not stress about all that
needs to be done...
just rest in the moment

savor this very day-
it is a gift

wherever you are today
smile and shine your light...
when you smile it makes you
feel good &
i am sure it does wonders
for the recipient of one of your
lovely smiles too!

It is good to be back at last catching up with your blogging activities, it seems I have missed quite a bit. I wish your daughters a wonderful and safe experience in south Africa.

That is exciting that your girls have a heart for missions. I'm sure they will be fine :) My daughter goes to Kenya in Aug and after to S. Africa for a month to work and also spend time with her grandmother who is South African. This will be her first time there alone as the team only goes to Kenya. She is 17 but I am so excited she has a heart to serve.

Hi melody-mae! I will continue to pray for the safe keeping of your two caring daughters, and hopefully you will hear (or have heard) from them very soon. You are so right, each and every day is a gift, with lots of blessings. Every day, I am truly thankful. Enjoy your weekend my friend and try not to worry TOO much.

I will say a prayer for your girls for sure! I always pray that God keeps us in the cleft of His rock where-ever we may find ourselves... did you not get the post divider working? I think about it every time I visit then forget to ask...I'm easily distracted by your words!
have a great 4th of July!
