i need more coffee!

today is one of those days
i feel like i could have stayed
in my warm cozy bed
the WHOLE day
but, since that is not
part of the plan today
more coffee is needed!

if i were to having COFFEE
with you...
first off, i would need to have
a huge cup of the blackest, richest coffee
i could find!!!

i would tell you about the
amazing day i had yesterday
with my oldest daughter

she found a baby coyote
under one of our deserted
old tractor trailers here on the farm
in the 'nest' was a
dead little pup along with
this little girl pup...
thinking maybe she could
even raise it
she took it home on friday
but, of course
once she thought it over
having my little grandson
around this wild animal
didn't seem feasible
and then when they decided
it was ready to
be set free...
would it be too tame?
once her and my son in law
thought it over they knew
they needed to find someone
who would be able to
love and raise her...
and then release her

she contacted this
animal rescue facility
about an hour and half away

she called and wanted to know
if i wanted to keep her company
so i went along for a road trip

they took the little girl pup
and they are having one from
another facility sent too
so they can be raised together
how cute is that?

so after they took
'wiley' from us
they said we could go
visit the 'rapture' center
there were these amazing
birds...i could not believe
i got to get that close to them
it was an amazing experience
and i am so glad i
chose to go with her!!

this is a sample
of what i saw yesterday

barn owl

isn't this eagle amazing!?

another kind of owl, i cannot remember what kind this was but, it kept hissing at us! :)

this was my favorite, i  went back to look at this three times!
a snowy owl...all white and gorgeous!

so this is what i would share with you
if i was having coffee with you...
how about you?
what would you have to share?

may you have a blessed day;

Aw, poor baby coyote. Yes, I realize they are wild animals, but you can't just abandon a baby like that. Good for ya'll!

That was lovely what you did for that little coyote. At least it will be safe now. You obviously had a lovely day along with your daughter, and I also loved the Snow Owl! Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

What a great day you had..I love eagles they are so majestic! We have Golden eagles that noes in the cliffs by our house and every once in a while we see a Bald headed eagle fly around our house.

I wanted to let you know that my birth daughter ( WENDY's) daughter, Summer, lost her baby in utero at 8 months. I was going to make a post asking for prayers but since Wendy has not posted, I have held off. Please keep Summer, and her boyfriend Tarik, in your prayers. Their son, Eric Ryan, was delivered at 7:20 on Good Friday.

Aw, such a sweet story. People who rescue animals are very special people. I find it so admirable that your daughter thought the little pup's rescue over so logically. It would have been easy to adopt the little girl, but that wouldn't have necessarily been best for anyone involved. I think she did the right thing. How great! I so enjoyed your little coffee conversation :)
