*crafty oh so crafty*

oh yeah
just call me a crafty granny (giggle, snicker)
i have been working on a couple things
this past weekend
now anyone who reads this blog
KNOWS i am not a craft blogger
but, these two projects were fun
so  i wanted to share-

when 'the boy' was here
this past weekend
i made him a little tag blanket
because just like his mommy did
 when she was his age...
he loves his 'silky' tags and his lovey puppy dog (pup)
i thought it would be fun to make him
a little tag blanket
he calls it his 'star' blanket because
the flannel material is full of stars...
small enough for him to take when he goes to granny and gramps' over night!!!

then i got a bee in my bonnet THIS morning and made little bow-ties for easter for the two little guys
i have no idea what they are wearing for church, and maybe these won't go/match at all
with what their mommies plan to have them wear
but i made these none the less...

i made them out of an old, ugly pair of my hubs jeans...lol

i had fun making them, so even if they do not wear them sunday
it was fun to make them :)

and then of course i have to share this picture
i took it yesterday while 'little one' was here
the sun actually came out for a bit
and we went outside
saw the horse and the all the cows
and enjoyed some of the sunshine!!

today is good friday
we will be going to church tonight
to remember the sacrifice that was made for us on the cross
and then on sunday we will
celebrate HIS victory!

may you have a lovely day today and most blessed easter weekend-

The bow ties turned out great and your little men will look very handsome!
I went to a very moving Tenebrae Service at church tonight.
Keep my eldest grand daughter, Summer, in your prayers. She lost her unborn baby boy, Eric Ryan, at 8 months. She delivered tonight, in Vegas, at 7:20. God's newest Angel.

I love that tag blanket so cute! I'd love to make one for my nephew, but alas...no crafting ability whatsoever exists within me :)

Oh, and I love those bow-ties, too. Nice job!
